You can get to Salina, combining a flight with other transfer from the following airports : Catania, Reggio Calabria, Palermo and Naples.

From Catania Airport you can reach the Aeolian Islands thanks to the many means which connect the ports of Messina and Milazzo in particular. There are connections by public buses that go directly to the port of Messina (www.saisautolinee.it) and Milazzo (www.giuntabustrasporti.com) and from there you reach Salina by hydrofoil. From Catania to Milazzo there are shuttle services running different hours according to the season and to the flow of people. Contact us for all the details or visit the page Transfer Service.

Palermo Airport is only recommended if you arrive not too late in the morning in order to catch the Ustica Lines hydrofoil to Salina, there is only one very early afternoon (2 pm roughly – it is available only during high season).

Naples airport may be convenient to reach us if you arrive in the morning and in time for the connection with hydrofoil (it runs daily in June, July, August with SNAV), or even if you arrive by mid-afternoon, in time for the ship (it runs a couple of times a week with Siremar) in the days when the service is performed.

From Reggio Calabria you can reach the Aeolian Islands by moving to the city’s port (taxi) and then moving with the company Metromare dello Stretto (www.metromaredellostretto.it) to Messina from where there are connections with Ustica Lines to Salina. You can buy a whole ticket from Reggio Calabria to Salina through the call center of the company itself.

NB. Rides and times of the Companies for the islands vary according to the season, we recommend that you always check timetables before choosing the flight.
